Celebrating our OATM G-Bag, TM!!






There is so much to celebrate! Where do we start? March is coming to a close but it has been National Ideas Month.  So many great things are possible stemming from a simple idea. We also found that today is National Create Your Own Holiday Day. 
At OATM, we are always thinking of ideas to further customize our arrangements to celebrate your occasion.  We are now featuring our new 3 oz. , 1/4 lb, and 3/4 lb gusseted stand up clear bags - G-Bags, TM.



 It is American Chocolate Week, and we have chosen three of our nations most popular chocolate treats.



The 3oz. G-bag, TM contains M&M's. * This size will soon be featured in one of our organizational projects.

The 1/4 lb G- Bag, TM,  is filled with Hershey's Chocolate Kisses.

We can't forget that it is National Peanut Month! These bags contain Cajun, Roasted, and Salted peanuts in our 1/4 lb bags courtesy of The Peanut Depot. 


   
Although chocolate and peanuts are a great fill, these bags can contain anything. Today we will celebrate our G-Bags!

Like Water, Like Chocolate!

We just found out that Today is World Water Day and this week is American Chocolate Week.  We didn't want to miss this opportunity to let you know about these two great celebrations. 

It is truly disheartening to know that only 63% of the worlds population do not have access to improved sanitation. Furthermore, who knew you could have a chocolate personality?

William Shatner and Chaka Khan both share birthdays in the month of March. Do you know someone with a March birthday?

At OATM, I guess you could say we are working to birth something very special. To celebrate we will also give a nod to American Chocolate Week. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Occasional Arrangements, TM Loves Awesomeness!!!

Yesterday was International Day of Awesomeness! This is actually a fairly new holiday, only 4 years old!!! This is a great positive holiday to recognize the strengths of others and note that we are all capable of being awesome!

At Occasional Arrangements, TM, we feel that we have something pretty awesome !! We are following up to our teaser posted earlier this week and have now finished two arrangements for two individuals this gifter feels to be pretty awesome.


                                        









 In learning a little bit about these individuals, we got busy to arrange something that would suite them well. As we say any occasion can be made special. That's what we are all about!!

It's Mardis Gras!










Hope you are having a great Fat Tuesday.  If you can't get down to the Big Easy, a great way to celebrate Mardis Gras is to enjoy some great NOLA cuisine in your area.   Although it may not be quite the same, but we can atleast celebrate by eating a po'boy or crab cake wherever  we can find it.

Occasional Arrangements, TM is working on two arrangements for two great people. What's the occasion you ask? You'll just have to wait and see! We will be sure to check in later this week so you can view the finished product before they are delivered to their final destinations.~

Celebrating Women and Peanut Butter!










Today March 1st, 2011 is the first day of the the first National Women's
History Month ever!! We were surprised to find that there was no Women's History Month before this very day. More disappointing is that we personally never thought about this. You should definitely read the proclamation. This month is a perfect month to give a unique and special gift to a wonderful woman in your life! Whether you lean right, left, or stand as an independent, this is an important and significant proclamation by our current white house administration.

Who do you think is an important woman in history?





And today we want to join in and celebrate the love of peanut butter!! Actually, this entire month is "Peanut Month". Peanut Butter is truly an American staple. Some like it in candy, some like it roasted, and some like to eat it directly off the spoon. At Occasional Arrangements, TM we love peanuts also (we like it in cookies, can you tell?!?).! Speaking of peanuts, we have actually placed peanuts from Birmingham, AL's The Peanut Depot in some of our arrangements. They sell them roasted, salted, cajun (fyi-very cajun), and raw. So if you want an arrangement for a peanut lover be sure and let us know so we can include fresh peanuts from The Peanut Depot. ~
